How do Megadollars work? Why buy Megadollars Ideal for when you are unsure which activity to buy. Megadollars are valid for two years. When you cannot find your preferred activity, the chances are that we will add it during the coming months. Use your megadollars to purchase any activity within two years, such activity vouchers remain valid for an additional 9 months from the date of purchase using your megadollars. What is a Megadollar Similar to air miles or nectar points which can be saved up and exchanged for a product, megadollars can be accumulated until you have acquired enough to pay for your Megathrill. The megadollar is the official Megathrills virtual currency and is not connected to the US dollar or any other real currency called dollar such as the Australian dollar. £1 buys you sixteen megadollars (M$16). The Megavault Deposit Box When you buy megadollars, an account is opened containing the amount of megadollars purchased. An authentic Megavault Certificate confirming the value of megadollars and the deposit box number is forwarded to you with a pin number which is sent separately. Your friend or family member can then go online to purchase activities using these assigned megadollars. Novelty Value To add novelty value to your Gift, you may elect to have the megadollars forwarded to you. Instead of a certificate you will receive a wad of megadollars. £125 will buy M$2000 megadollars which are issued in M$20 megadollar notes - this represents a nice thick pile of Meganotes or you may choose the M$2000 megadollar note which makes for an impressive gift. These wads are authentically presented using standard banking packing procedures. Each Meganote carries a number which is your Megavault Deposit Box account number. For your security a pin number is sent separately in order to set up your online deposit box. Spending your Megadollars The recipient of your megadollar gift then logs on at megathrills.com and enters the PIN number to access their account. The first time they log on they will be asked to enter a name and address and choose a username and the account will then be registered to them. When they choose an activity they may pay for it using the 'Megadollars' option. The amount will then be deducted from their account. Top Up If an activity costs more than is deposited in your safety deposit box, simply use the top up feature after logging into your account. Credit / debit cards, cheques or additional megadollars can be used to top up.
