Flying as
gentle as a bird above
some of England's most
beautiful countryside at
heights of up to 3,000
feet, and gazing down at

Important
information
Minimum
height is 4'6'' and
maximum weight 17 stone.
Minimum age varies from
7 to 8 years old
depending on location.
Under 16s must be
accompanied by an adult.
Ballooning is not
suitable for pregnant
women and medical
conditions must be
declared.
Length
of activity
The
experience normally
lasts for three to four
hours, including one
hour to inflate the
balloon, around an hour
in the air and one hour
for packing the balloon
away and returning to
the launch site.
Weather
Conditions
Ballooning is
very weather dependent -
it is crucial you call
the centre before your
flight. In event of
postponement you will be
offered an alternative
date and may also
request an alternative
ballooning venue (please
contact the operator to
arrange).
Availability
Ballooning
takes place at around
dusk and/or dawn on
weekdays mainly from
March/April to
October/November subject
to weather conditions.
During the winter months
ballooning can be
subject to additional
inconvenient
cancellations due to
poor weather.
What
to wear
Wear
trousers, long sleeves
and sensible footwear
(no high heels please),
and bring a hat as the
heat from the burner can
be intense. Please do
not wear loose scarves
or jewellery. Bear in
mind that launch and
landing sites can be
muddy.
Friends
& Family
Spectators
are welcome to watch the
launch (a wonderful
sight) and wave you off.
A pair of binoculars or
a camera will come in
handy.
Extra
information
As all
airborne activities are
weather dependant, your
voucher entitles you to
a minimum of five
attempts at rebooking,
should any
cancellation/s prevent
it going ahead. After
this you are free to
exchange to an
alternative experience
if you'd prefer.
